… and The Podfather and his cohorts in “The ‘Burgh,” are already hard at work, starting with some sneaky fantasy sleeper targets. While there were obvious winners on Thursday night… a few under-the-radar names might have dodged bullets and solidified their statuses… for now.

Jalen Coker (WR, CAR) | Rejoice, Cokeheads! The Panthers chose more protection for the quarterback rather than pivoting to WR. Breakout season across from McMillon?

Jalen Tolbert (WR, MIA) | Safe for another day atop the Dolphins’ wideout hierarchy.

Tyjae Spears (RB - TEN) | Still locked with Tony Pollard, but no additional backfield help is good news for the stiffarm wunderkind.

Jacoby Brissett (QB - ARI) | Despite defensive inefficiencies, the Cardinals keep adding weapons, this time in the form of slam-dunk stuf Jeremiyah Love.

Darnell Mooney (WR - NYG) | Giants go LB and OT at Nos. 5 & 10… no WR in sight!

Geno Smith (QB - NYJ) | Jets trade up for the WR they coveted (Omar Cooper Jr.) after already adding top TE Kenyon Sadiq. Weapons added to Garrett Wilson for the QB.

Quinshon Judkins (RB-CLE) | A big OT (Spencer Fano) to open up holes and a crafty receiver in KC Concepcion to take pressure off the ground-and-pound.

Cam Skattebo / Ty Tracy (RB - NYG) | With Arizona taking Love, he was not there at No. 5, meaning neither of the current backs is in danger.

The 2026 NFL Draft kicked off LIVE from the Steel City on Thursday Night, and so did we — covering every eventful minute of it all from the PlayerProfiler draft house.

It didn’t take long for the ground to start shaking as Arizona jumped all over Notre Dame’s stud running back Jeremiyah Love, adding to their crowded house.
The 49ers traded down twice, eventually exiting the first without a selection. Not to be outmatched, Buffalo did so thrice, also bailing out of the first while stockpiling picks.
Eight Trades in Round 1 were the most since 2022’s record of none.

Eagles Trade Up to Grab WR Makai Lemon

The Philadelphia Eagles select WR Makai Lemon with the #20 overall pick in the first round.

The Philadelphia Eagles just added a high-octane Alpha to their arsenal by drafting Makai Lemon (USC) at No. 20, snagging a technical wizard whose elite body control and Biletnikoff-winning production make him an immediate nightmare for NFC East secondaries. Lemon is a verified “metric darling” with a massive 39.2% College Dominator Rating (81st-percentile) and a dominant 28.1% target share, proving he is a volume-commanding engine who can win at every level of the field, despite a later 21.3 breakout age.

In dynasty formats, it is a tough landing spot for Lemon, who falls to a mid-to-late first-round rookie pick. It’s another nail in the coffin of A.J. Brown’s (read more)
