Cooper Kupp and Myles Garett Hit the Trade Market
The Los Angeles Rams have informed WR Cooper Kupp that he will not be with the team in 2025. After a disappointing finish to the season, the Rams have decided he is not worth the $29.8 Million cap hit in 2025. Kupp announced online that he had hoped to be staying in Los Angeles but will look forward to competing to win another Super Bowl on a new team next year. Look towards rookie Jordan Whittington as a potential winner should a trade come through.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns are encountering the exact opposite scenario. DE Myles Garrett has formally requested a trade from the Browns as he wants to play for a team that has a chance at winning a Super Bowl. The Browns have said that they have no intention of trading him, but the power is all in Garrett’s hands. He is one of their few standout players and could easily hold out the season if he chose to. Speculation on his trade value is up in the air.
