George Pickens has Been Traded

The trade bug has extended beyond your favorite fantasy football analysts rookie drafts this week, as the Cowboys have secured a legitimate WR2 for Dak Prescott. Although the Cowboys cap indicates that Pickens may only remain on a one-year deal in Dallas, it is believed that the front office accounted for the compensatory pick they receive for his free agency next season in 2026. By giving up a third rounder, they stand to potentially regain a later third-round compensatory pick if Pickens signs a substantial deal. This scenario is speculative and first requires Pickens performing well in 2025. One thing remains certain for Dallas, they will be thrilling to watch.
